Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent at Grovin Construction in Melrose, FL.
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, organizing resources and overseeing budgeting, and managing project timelines and expectations.
Responsibilities Overseeing and managing all aspects of our scope of work throughout the duration of a project.
Scheduling equipment and labor strategically to maximize efficiency and revenue flow.
Communicating with foreman, subcontractors, project manager and team members working for the prime contractor to ensure all the goals and schedule milestones are met.
Fostering a positive work environment by offering constructive feedback as needed.
Familiarizing yourself with contractual obligations.
Managing project documentation including daily progress logs and other on-site administrative needs.
Working with a sense of urgency pertaining to details needed for change orders as needed.
Being familiar with the SOV and working with project manager to create a monthly plan to perform revenue generating activities in a logical and well thought out manner.
Thinking about the big picture of the project at all times while meeting smaller milestones.
Qualifications Minimum of (3) years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing $5M
projects.
Construction Safety and Organization skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership and managerial skills Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics Experience in site-work and heavy civil.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field a plus Certifications in safety, project management, or related field are a plus We're looking for a dedicated superintendent to join our team! Job Type:
