Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals - Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors - Write grant proposals and manage the grant application process - Utilize Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software to track donor information and manage campaigns - Conduct research on potential funding sources and stay updated on industry trends - Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and donor recognition - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of fundraising efforts - Provide excellent customer service to donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders - Assist with strategic planning for long-term fundraising initiatives - Maintain positive public relations by representing the organization at community events Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for grant writing and donor correspondence - Proficiency in using Raiser's Edge or similar donor management software - Ability to conduct research and analyze data for fundraising purposes - Experience with databases for tracking donor information and generating reports - Relationship management skills to build connections with donors and sponsors - Excellent customer service skills to engage with donors and provide support - Strategic planning abilities to develop effective fundraising campaigns - Knowledge of public relations principles for promoting fundraising initiatives - Understanding of fundraising techniques, including direct mail, online giving, and major gifts - Familiarity with market trends in philanthropy and fundraising We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
